Josip Juranovic sets ambitious Celtic target as new signing reveals why he's on penalty duties for the foreseeable future

Confident Josip Juranovic is targeting top spot in the Celtic scoring charts this season after being handed penalty duties.

The full-back has been named as Ange Postecoglou 's main spot-kick taker after impressing in training.

The defender has now netted from 12-yards out against Real Betis and St Johnstone since being given the nod.

He will be hoping that he gets the call for Celtic again at the key moment when they travel to Hibs on Wednesday.

When asked how it came about that he was given penalty duties, the Croatian international side: "I shoot like two penalty kicks and scored, before the match against Betis.

"Before Betis, (the) coach said to me we will shoot some penalties, for all the players.

"I scored three goals and they missed one, and because of that I'm on the penalties.

When asked if he was exciting by that and the prospect of becoming top scorer, he smirked: "I hope so!

"I'm calm on the ball and my head doesn't go crazy at big moments. I want to be relaxed, and when I take the ball I think about the sides, pick one and that's it."
