Josip Juranovic's agent breaks Celtic transfer exit silence as 'concrete agreement' prospect addressed

Celtic defender Josip Juranovic is reportedly being eyed by Atletico Madrid and clubs in the English Premier League after an impressive debut campaign at Parkhead. However, his agent Hussein Algaaod has moved to play down talk on an imminent Celtic Park departure.

Juranovic arrived from Legia Warsaw a year ago and was a key man for Ange Postecoglou last season, filling in on both sides of the back four. He was a perfect fit for the Australian's relentless style of play and played a key role in the Premiership and Premier Sports Cup triumphs.

However, a shock report from transfer guru Fabrizio Romano stated that that Juranovic would leave Celtic this summer with several clubs targeting a deal for the versatile defender this summer. A bargain £15million price tag was touted despite Juranovic being just one season into a five-year contract, while Champions League football is just around the corner for the Scottish champions.

Representative Algaaod has moved to cool some of the hype around a potential move away from Glasgow's east end in the Croatian media.

He told Index that Celtic do do not want to sell it unless a really big offer comes along and a price is is not fixed at £15million.

Algaaod said: "So far, several clubs from the five leagues have shown interest in bringing him in, but there is no concrete agreement."
