Josip Juranovic Celtic to Union Berlin behind the scenes from start to finish as transfer documented

Union Berlin have provided a behind the scenes look into the capture of Josip Juranovic from Celtic.

The Bundesliga side moved to snap up the defender from the Scottish champions in a deal that could reach a reported £10million. Speculation over his future had been rife since the World Cup after excelling for Croatia including a man of the match display against Brazil at the quarter-final stage. The German top flight high-flyers emerged as the club to get a deal over the line for the man who joined the Hoops just 18 months previous in a £2.5million move from Legia Warsaw.

Juranovic - a key player under Ange Postecoglou since his arrival in Scotland - sent an emotional farewell message to the club and supporters on social media as he roared: 'Glasgow will always be green and white'. A number of his now former team-mates including Joe Hart, Greg Taylor and Daizen Maeda left messages of support as he begins a new chapter. His new club rolled out the red carpet for the winter addition as they provided a brilliant insight to his first moments at the club. From checking in for his flight to taking part in interviews and showcasing some language skills and his first training session. The German outfit covered it all in a real behind the scenes take on how things materialise behind the scenes.

"Big thanks to the fans. Each and every one of you made me feel special. Fireball will be always close to my heart! Glasgow will always be GREEN AND WHITE! Once a CELT, always a CELT. "
