Josie Gibson 'fears' This Morning return after party antics exposed by Alison Hammond

Josie Gibson admitted she 'scared' to return to This Morning next week, after her drunken antics at Alison Hammond's recent birthday party were exposed on Friday.

It was confirmed earlier this week that former Big Brother star Josie would be fronting the ITV daytime show Again next week, alongside Dermot O'Leary, as Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby take a break for half term. The move was welcomed by many This Morning viewers and, days before, she takes the reins, Josie was the star guest on another ITV programme, joining the Loose Women for their final episode of the week.

And it was co-star and friend Alison that hinted Josie might have some things to own up to when she crossed live to Loose Women to get a teaser of what was coming up. As Josie looked mortified, Alison said: "I'm sure Josie will tell you what she got up to at the party!"

Josie walked onto the Loose Women set less than an hour later and, after accusing Alison of 'throwing her completely under the bus,' host Kaye Adams asked Josie to elaborate, with Josie blaming what happened on 'too much rum punch' as she admitted she was a bit nervous about seeing her This Morning colleagues again in the aftermath.

Josie explained: "I went to her party on Saturday and I'm missing three hours of it. Honestly, I don't normally drink and I turned into a ravaged animal. She had all this rum punch and it tasted just like juice! I was going to the bar and getting a tequila and then a rum punch as I thought there's not a lot of alcohol in it.

"And then, the next thing you know, I was blowing raspberries on everyone," as Kelly Holmes sat along from her looking horrified.

Taking things further, Josie then confessed she was blowing raspberries on people's bellies, adding: "You know when you wake up in the morning and you're like 'oh my god! What have I done?'"

She then revealed she hadn't seen any of her This Morning colleagues since the party, quipping: "I'm too frightened to go in there!" before Kaye wound up her by tricking into thinking they had video evidence.
