Joshua vs Ruiz 2 fans vent frustrations after Sky Box Office problems

Boxing fans were left frustrated after experiencing problems trying to watch Anthony Joshua's rematch with Andy Ruiz.

Joshua faced off with Ruiz in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night after losing his unbeaten record and world heavyweight titles earlier this year.

The bout was screened live on Sky Sports Box Office in the UK, with boxing fans having to cough up £24.99 to watch it.

But many were experiencing problems before the fight as they were left with a black screen with an apology from Sky.

It read: "We are really sorry but something went wrong. Please try connecting again."

It appears viewers on the Box Office app had to reset their passwords to access the stream from the fight.

One fan took to social media, posting: "Absolutely awful useless service. Charged me and never received email now can’t sign in to watch what I’ve paid for.”

Sky Sports Box Office increased the price of the fight to £24.99 from the usual £19.99.

Fans in the UK were able to watch the bout live with it starting after 9pm in the UK, a far cry from their first fight in the US in the summer.
