Joshua Ritchie shares agony over 10k trolling DMs after Charlotte Crosby split

Joshua Ritchie confessed he's been hit with around 10,000 hate DMs from his fans since he split with Geordie Shore's Charlotte Crosby.

The former lovebirds split-up back in November 2019 after two years together.

Josh, 25, revealed the reason he split from the former Geordie Shore OG was because their arguments were so bad he "couldn't" stay with her.

Weeks after their split, the reality star signed up to find love on Celebs Go Dating.

However, the Ex On The Beach star divulged behind the scenes he was receiving lots of hate and trolling.

"I suffered from [trolling] when I broke up from my ex [Charlotte], I got a lot of hate," he explained to OK! magazine.

"I probably got over five to 10,000 messages. A lot. Even my family got it, like my mother, my sisters. I went through a lot of trolls."

The former Love Island star left his ex hurting after she discovered he had applied to go on Celebs Go Dating.

It caused major uproar as Charlotte filmed an angry video lashing out at her former flame for applying to find love on TV shortly after dumping her.

From this, Josh was swamped with lots of cruel trolling for his "bitter" move.

However, the dishy reality star brushed off the nasty comments with a carefree attitude.

He said: "I'm just not that really a**ed".

The hunk recognised social media was "a massive platform" which means it's good for business.

"All I do is if I see a negative comment I delete it. I just think they're wasting their time, I'm just not bothered," Josh added.

The hunk admitted his mum and sisters have been very much like him and also have taken the negative abuse in the same way.

It's reported his ex-girlfriend Charlotte has moved on with videographer Liam Beaumont.
