Joshua Ritchie admits he's never read a book due to struggle with dyslexia

Joshua Ritchie has admitted that he has never read a book and struggles to read and write because of his dyslexia.

The 25-year-old Celebs Go Dating star revealed that he flunked his GCSEs and struggled with education because of his learning difficulties.

"I’m dyslexic so, I just struggle with reading and writing to be fair," he said in an honest interview with OK! magazine.

"I’ve never read a book before," he explained to the publication.

"I didn’t get anything on my GCSEs when I left school. I wasn’t the best. I’ve actually tried [to read], but I struggled."

The reality star then went on to explain during his interview that as he grew older he learned what he could excel at.

Joshua discovered he was dyslexic when he was just in primary school, but he hasn't let it affect his blossoming celebrity lifestyle.

The television hunk also suggested that reading wasn't particularly a 'tool' that he needed in his work.

According to the NHS, Dyslexia is a learning difficulty, which causes problems with reading and writing.

An estimated 1 in every 10 people in the country are affected by dyslexia to some varying degree.

Joshua hit headlines at the end of last year when he split up from his girlfriend of two years, Charlotte Crosby.

He since sparked rumours of a fling with Celeb's Go Dating co-star Olivia Bentley.

Last month, the duo were spotted sharing a passionate kiss and it has since been confirmed that they both 'fancy' each other.
