Joshua Langford named to West Award Watch List

Earlier this week we wrote about Michigan State’s Cassius Winston being named to the Bob Cousy Award Watch List, given to NCAA Men’s Basketball’s top point guard. Well, his partner in crime in the backcourt was given similar recognition as hew as named to the Jerry West Award Watch List, presented to the nation’s top shooting guard by the Naismith Hall of Fame.

Recent winners of the award include RJ Barrett (Kentucky, 2019), Carsen Edward (Purdue, 2018), Malik Monk (Kentucky, 2017), Buddy Hield (Oklahoma, 2016), D’Angelo Russell (Ohio State, 2015).

The West Award was started in 2015 so Langford could be the first Spartan to win the award since it’s inception.
