Joshua King has explained why he didn't celebrate the first goal of his recent hat trick against Everton.
The striker spent the second half of the 2020/21 season with the Blues after making the move to Merseyside in January to provide back-up and competition to Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison.
However, the Norway international found opportunities limited during his time under Carlo Ancelotti, and failed to make a start throughout his spell with the club.
King returned to Goodison Park last month with his new club Watford, and put his old side to the sword by scoring a hat trick in a 5-2 win for Claudio Ranieri's side.

The Hornets star has been looking back on his time with the Blues once more, and praised the club's supporters for their private messages to him during a difficult spell.
Because of that, the 29-year-old revealed he didn't celebrate his first strike against his former side last month - but he let emotions get the better of him for his other two goals.
King told Watford's official website : "I was there for five months at Everton and never really got given a chance.
"I was promised a lot before I went there and of course I took that personally when I stepped onto the pitch two weekends ago.
"I remember the fans writing to me on Instagram saying that I deserved a chance.
"The fans were good, that’s why I didn’t really celebrate the first goal because the fans felt the same.
"After that second goal, the 3-2 goal, emotions got the better of me. It was a good day but for me I wanted to show them what I can do.
"I didn’t expect to score three when I woke up that day."
Watford take on Arsenal on Sunday afternoon while Everton welcome Spurs to Goodison Park in their first home match since their dismal defeat to the Hornets.
