Josh Warrington tells Jack Grealish what every Leeds United fan is thinking

World champion boxer Josh Warrington has slammed Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish, branding him a 'muppet' for his involvement in the dramatic scenes at Elland Road over the weekend.

Warrington, who is a life-long follower of the Whites , took to Twitter to vent his anger over the dramatic scenes which occurred during Sunday’s game.

Dean Smith’s side expected the Whites to put the ball out of play following an injury to Jonathan Kodjia in the middle of the pitch, but Marcelo Bielsa's side, despite looking as though they were about to put the ball out of play, opted to play on, with Mateusz Klich racing clear to open the scoring.

The goal sparked a huge brawl between both sets of players, managers and coaches, and also led Anwar El Ghazi seeing red for an incident with Patrick Bamford - although the Villa man has now had his suspension overturned by The Football Association.

Following a review of the incident, Bamford has now been charged by The FA for 'successfully deceiving a match official', but Warrington, who makes a second defence of his IBF world featherweight title against mandatory challenger Kid Galahad on June 15, opted to take aim at Grealish for his part in the incident.

He said in a tweet: "Hourihane trying to channel his inner Bruce Lee one inch punch. Funny how Grealish walks over like he’s ten men like, 'I’ve got your back if he says owt bro..' Muppet."

The Whites could lose Bamford for two matches if he accepts The FA's charge.
