Josh Taylor's World Boxing Super Series fight at the SSE Hydro tickets on sale

A professional boxing tournament with a total prize fund of $50m is coming to the SSE Hydro next month.

Founded in 2017, the World Boxing Super Series (WBSS) brings together some of the best Cruiserweight, Super-Middleweight and Bantamweight fighters from around the world.

In the Super Lightweight division, Scotsman Josh Taylor - who won the gold medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games - takes on the Belarussian Ivan Baranchik in the first semi-final of the night.

He will face either Regis Prograis or Kiryl Relikh in the final. Their semi-final takes place in Lafayette later this month on April 27.

Edinburgh-born Taylor currently holds an impressive 14-0 record.

The other semi-final on the night takes place in the Bantamweight division between Puerto-Rican born Emmanuel 'Manny' Rodriguez and Japanese three-weight world bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue.

Glasgow's SSE Hydro will host the event on Saturday May 18 with doors opening from 6pm.
