For a guy who some continue to insist is a bad apple, Rosen sure seems to know how to hide it at every turn, doesn’t he? The anonymous opinions on Rosen as a “difficult personality” have never really had any substance behind them — Rosen handled his departure from Arizona with class, he handed his press conference in Miami with class and now he’s thanking the fans for their warm welcome.
The court of public opinion on Rosen seems to have shifted from apprehension to optimism — and rightfully so. Rosen is a gifted passer who has never given anyone in Miami the right to question his persona. And until we see Rosen in pads and on the field slinging the football around, the general impression in Miami ought to be excitement. Rosen himself is excited to get to work, let’s be equally excited to see him get to work.
