Josh Rosen also not featured on Cardinals’ 2019 season schedule calendar

With the release of the 2019 NFL schedule, the Arizona Cardinals released a video promo for the season. While key players like David Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald and others were featured, quarterback Josh Rosen was noticeably absent.

This is not the only promotional material for the 2019 season that leaves Rosen out.

The 2019 season schedule calendar produced by the team also does not have Rosen on it. David Johnson, Patrick Peterson, Larry Fitzgerald and Chandler Jones are.

Rosen is the subject of trade rumors because the Cardinals are largely expected to use the first overall pick in the 2019 draft to select Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray, the 2018 Heisman Trophy winner. Murray is a player new Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury recruited out of high school and has long admired.

The Cardinals have not openly made Rosen available but they are certainly going out of their way to make sure he is not featured on anything, as they have not decided what they will do with him. After all, he is supposed to be their quarterback of the future. If that is going to be Murray, then it makes sense not to have Rosen anywhere.

However, this just serves as more evidence that the Cardinals are definitely leaning in the direction of trading Rosen, if the decision hasn’t already been made.
