New Fulham signing Josh Onomah is pushing to make his debut against Huddersfield on Friday as he bids to kickstart his career after leaving Tottenham.

The 22-year-old joined Fulham on deadline day as part of the deal that took Ryan Sessegnon to Spurs.

Onomah was not involved against Blackburn last weekend but he has trained this week and the midfielder will be hoping to be involved against the Terriers, also relegated from the top flight last season.

Fulham manager Scott Parker said: Josh has probably not settled somewhere over the last few years, he has been on loan here and there.

The most important thing for Josh now is that he has signed a contract here, and this is going to be his home.

"I know what a player Josh is, if we can get him to where we need then will have some player on our hands."
