Josh Mullin extends Livingston deal as winger targets more success for Lions

Josh Mullin hopes to help Livingston write more success stories after extending his stay in West Lothian by another two years.

The winger, who helped the Lions win League One four years ago, has been a revelation since returning to Almondvale from Ross County in October.

The 28-year-old, who made his 100th appearance for the Lions earlier this year has chipped in with five goals and six assists in 27 games since rejoining.

Now he’s followed Jon Guthrie and Nicky Devlin in activating a clause in his contract which keeps him at the club until 2023.

And he said: “It’s great to get this signed and I’m delighted to be staying at the club. I feel like I’ve settled back in nicely and have really enjoyed this season so far.

“With another two years to look forward to, I’m hopeful that we can create more success stories for the club and keep pushing on in all competitions."

Manager David Martindale - who described the player as having one of the best set piece deliveries in the top flight earlier this season - added: “I’m delighted that Josh sees his future at Livingston.

“Josh has played a huge role in our success this season and I truly believe there is a lot more to come from him in a footballing perspective.

“I’m really, really pleased to be able to keep him at the club and I’m looking forward to working with him for another two seasons.”
