Josh McCown won’t just be a camp arm for Eagles after signing 1-year,$2M gtd with max value of $5.4M

Josh McCown signed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, and according to Ian Rapoport, he won’t just be a training camp arm. McCown will get $2 million fully guaranteed, with the opportunity to make $5.4 million in incentives.

The Eagles’ backup quarterback Nate Sudfeld, suffered a broken wrist to his non-throwing arm in the preseason opener and is expected to miss six weeks. Cody Kessler was knocked out of the Eagles second preseason game with a concussion, allowing 2019 fifth-round pick Clayton Thorson to play the majority of the game. Coach Doug Pederson had previously said afterward the team would evaluate Kessler and the QB situation this weekend.
