Josh McCown set to have surgery after playing 2nd half vs. Seahawks with torn hamstring

The Philadelphia Eagles had both quarterbacks suffer significant injuries in their Wild Card loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Carson Wentz left the game with a concussion after taking a helmet to helmet hit from Jadeveon Clowney. He was replaced by a 40-year-old backup quarterback Josh McCown.

McCown played well at times and came up pulling the back of his leg after a pass attempt. Now Tim McManus of ESPN.com is reporting that McCown tore his hamstring on that pass play or a first-down run, and played the second half with that injury.

McCown performance was more than gutsy, as he rushed five times for 23 yards while completing 18 of 24 passes for 174 yards.
