Josh Jones and Kentrell Brice visit Bills, J’Mon Moore visits 49ers

Three former members of the Green Bay Packers visited other teams on Monday.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, former Packers safety Josh Jones visited the Buffalo Bills, his first known visit since he was waived by the Packers on Aug. 25 with a non-football illness designation. The Packers’ second-round pick in 2017 played only two seasons in Green Bay.

Jones wasn’t the only former Packers safety in Buffalo. Kentrell Brice, who started 10 games in Green Bay last season, also visited the Bills Monday, per Jenna Laine of ESPN. He signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this offseason but was released during final cuts.

Second-year receiver J’Mon Moore is also getting another look. The Packers’ fourth-round pick in 2018 visited the San Francisco 49ers, per Field Yates of ESPN. Moore got a fresh start with new coach Matt LaFleur but once again struggled to hold onto the football this summer, leading to his release during final cuts.

Two players the Packers cut on Saturday were claimed: quarterback DeShone Kizer by the Oakland Raiders and safety Natrell Jamerson by the Carolina Panthers. The Packers also traded outside linebacker Reggie Gilbert to the Tennessee Titans and guard Justin McCray to the Cleveland Browns.
