Here’s something fans won’t see every day — an NBA player is trying to see a big NFL trade happen.
Josh Hart of the New Orleans Pelicans took to Twitter recently and tried to convince Minnesota Vikings wideout Stefon Diggs of joining the Washington Redskins.
Easier said than done, of course, as Diggs is still under contract with the Vikings.
The topic came up on a retirement post about Jordan Reed. Diggs is one of the most interesting points of speculation around the NFL this offseason as his future with the Vikings seems to remain a question mark.
The Redskins would probably love to have a talent like Diggs aboard and running alongside Terry McLaurin. But this one has more “Madden” vibes to it than anything else.
If Diggs for some reason becomes available, maybe keep the Redskins in mind. But right now it makes for fun interesting offseason conversation and nothing more.
