Josh Hart received PRP injection, out at least through All-Star

The Los Angeles Lakers will finish the the pre-All-Star portion of the schedule without another key member of their backcourt.

On Monday, the Lakers announced that Josh Hart underwent a Platelet Rich Plasma injection on his knee and will not be re-evaluated until after the team returns from break.

After playing his way into the starting lineup earlier in the season, Hart’s game saw a downturn almost as soon as LeBron James went down with injury. Hart shot just 22.7% on 3-pointers and 33.6% from the field in January, a month which saw him get replaced in the starting lineup by Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

Now with Reggie Bullock in the starting lineup at shooting guard, the Lakers have a little more depth to allow Hart to get right before the final stretch of the regular season.
