Josh Gordon appears to be off NFI list in return to Patriots practice

New England Patriots receiver Josh Gordon appears to have rejoined the team in practice in full pads, according to reporters on the scene. His presence at practice indicates he is off the non-football injury list.

Gordon rejoined the Patriots after the NFL reinstated him from an indefinite suspension. When the league allowed him to return to the Patriots, the team placed him on NFI and announced he would not be playing in any of the preseason games.

The receiver spent 11 games with the Patriots in 2018 before returning to his suspension in December for violating the terms of his previous reinstatement. He finished the year with the Patriots with 40 receptions for 720 yards and three touchdowns.

Gordon rejoins a group of Patriots receivers which includes Julian Edelman, Demaryius Thomas, Phillip Dorsett, N’Keal Harry and Jakobi Meyers, among others.
