Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will return to the London Palladium next year

Go Go Go Joe! Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is returning to the West End next summer.

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s musical will be back at the London Palladium, where it has just completed a sold out run.

The cast for next year’s production hasn’t been announced yet, but Laurence Connor returns to direct the biblical tale about a young man sold into slavery, who discovers his ability to interpret dreams.

This year’s production of Joseph was staged in celebration of 50 years since the original concept album was released.

Jason Donovan and Sheridan Smith starred in the revival alongside newcomer Jac Yarrow, who made his professional stage debut right after graduating from drama school.

The Standard gave the show four stars, saying it had been “triumphantly reborn as a vibrant slice of all singing, all dancing exuberance”.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will run from July 2-September 6, 2020, at the London Palladium.

Tickets will go on general sale on Friday September 27.
