Jose Mourinho was lambasted towards the end of his spell as Manchester United manager.
United, who had seen David Moyes and Louis van Gaal come and go following the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson in their search for stability, turned to Mourinho in 2016 to take them forward.
And in his first season, Mourinho won the League Cup and the Europa League, although they finished sixth in the Premier League, mainly down to 15 draws - losing the second fewest number of games of anyone in the league.
Mourinho and United finished second in the Premier League the following year - becoming the best of the rest after a 100-point winning Manchester City campaign, losing the FA Cup final to Chelsea too.
It was not a bad spell, but it was not good enough and following a poor start to his third season in charge, he was sacked, replaced by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who remains in place now.
United are second in the table, albeit a whopping 14 points behind rivals City - a record similar to Mourinho's second year in charge.
And a fan on Reddit has been quick to point out that the Red Devils have made 'no progress' under Solskjaer since Mourinho left.
Looking into the stats, user TheBigSalad8221 focused in on the first 27 games of a season under Solskjaer now and Mourinho's two full campaigns.
United currently sit second in the table with 51 points, a +21 goal difference and are 14 points off the top as previously mentioned.
Compare that with Mourinho's records and there is little difference.
In 2016/17 Mourinho's United had 50 points from their first 27 Premier League games with a +17 goal difference and were 16 points behind the top of the table.
Then, in 2017/18, United had 56 points, a +32 goal difference and were 16 points off the top of the table.
A goalless draw with Crystal Palace on Wednesday night has only exacerbated United fans' feelings heading into the business end of the campaign.
