Jose Mourinho has aimed a thinly-veiled pop at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, claiming the Manchester United boss speaks "all the time about the future".
Solskjaer has come under scrutiny with United winning just two games this season and five in their last 23 games.
The 46-year-old has attempted to cool speculation that he is running on borrowed time at Old Trafford, insisting he has the backing of the club's hierarchy.
And Mourinho, who was sacked in December and subsequently replaced by Solskjaer, appeared to take aim at the Man Utd manager's "PR" tactics to stay in the job.
"They did some good PR in the week to make it absolutely clear or create positive atmosphere for the game," he said, speaking as a pundit for Sky Sports.

"I’m going to try and get a job like Ole has, and speak all the time about the future.
"I think it’s a great situation, three year contract – the future, the young players. I think it’s a great job to do in such a giant club."
United currently sit 14th in the Premier League table ahead of their clash with league leaders Liverpool, who can equal Manchester City's record of 18 wins in a row if they succeed at Old Trafford.
