Manchester United have enjoyed a strong summer transfer window with four new signings added to their first-team squad.
The stunning arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus has generated plenty of excitement amongst United fans and continues a busy summer of signings.
The club also landed long-term transfer target Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund while also signing central defender Raphael Varane from Real Madrid, while goalkeeper Tom Heaton returned from Aston Villa.
There was also a major outgoing on transfer deadline as Dan James joined Leeds United in a permanent deal worth an additional £25million, with add-ons included in the deal.

It has now been reported in Italy that midfielder Donny van de Beek has also been offered an escape route from the club with representatives contacting Serie A side Roma.
It is alleged by Laroma24.it that Roma General Manager Tiago Pinto was contacted over the possibility of a season-long loan deal for the Dutch midfielder.
The report claims that United made the offer directly to Roma, who are in the market for a midfielder and the nature of the loan would see the Italian club cover the player’s wages but would not have an option to buy.
This move is said to have been rejected by club officials with former United boss Jose Mourinho - who was appointed as new Roma coach this summer - does not believe van de Beek fits the profile of the midfielder they need.

The 24-year-old has not featured in either of United’s opening three Premier League games this season - being an unused substitute against Leeds United, Southampton and Wolves.
It follows on from a season in which van de Beek started only four league games despite steering clear of injury as he was a deputy to the in-form Bruno Fernandes at Old Trafford.
The Dutchman made a total of 36 appearances for the Red Devils last campaign but just 15 of those matches were from the start.
Van de Beek’s frustrating debut season at United was followed by further bad luck in the summer as he was ruled out of the European Championships through injury.
Last week, Netherlands boss Louis van Gaal excluded the midfielder from his first international squad and claimed he phoned the player to tell him he needed more first-team minutes.
The former United boss told reporters: “I called Donny van de Beek yesterday. I told him that he needs to start playing games.
"I did not speak with any manager of my players. Maybe it’s logical to talk with them, but I haven’t done it.
“I spoke (with Van de Beek) last night for 45 minutes, but I am not going to tell you anything. This is between Donny and me. I am capable of advising players."
Roma have won all four of their competitive games so far this season between Serie A and the UEFA Europa Conference League with Mourinho enjoying a strong start to life at the club.
