Here is your Tottenham Hotspur morning digest on Monday, December 7.
Sanchez linked with Milan move
Tottenham defender Davinson Sanchez is a target for Italian club AC Milan, according to a report from The Sun.
Sanchez has been largely out of favour this season under Jose Mourinho, with Eric Dier and Toby Alderweireld being the Spurs manager's first-choice central defensive pairing.
Now, it is claimed that Milan are keeping tabs on the Colombia international and could make a move for him in the January transfer window.
The 24-year-old signed for Spurs back in 2017 for £42million and has made almost 100 Premier League appearances for the north London side.
Mourinho sends warning
Tottenham boss Mourinho has admitted his side can still "lose everywhere" despite reclaiming top spot with a 2-0 win over Arsenal on Sunday evening.
Spurs climbed back to the top of the Premier League table with the comfortable win over their north London rivals, but the Portuguese coach has sent his players a stern warning.
"We can lose everywhere in the Premier League, we can go to any team and lose, any team can come here and beat us," Mourinho said.
"Of course people could expect this last three matches, three or four points or six and lose one. We did seven (points), we didn't concede one goal against phenomenal teams, of course we are in a good moment and the team is in a good place mentally, but nothing changes."
Mourinho reveals reason for Ndombele absence
Speaking ahead of the north London derby, Mourinho revealed the reason why Tanguy Ndombele was not part of the matchday squad.
Ndombele has been in fine form for Spurs recently and his absence from the 25-man squad on Sunday left some supporters confused.
However, Mourinho quickly cleared it up and delivered a blow, when speaking to Sky Sports prior to the game: "(He had) a little problem that he couldn’t recover from.
"We were expecting, we were positive, we were expecting until the last moment. At that moment, he decided he was not ready.”
