Jose Mourinho self-isolating with three Tottenham coaches in rented house

Jose Mourinho is living with three of his coaches during self-isolation, as the Tottenham manager prepares for the return of the Premier League.

Mourinho has a home in Belgravia, close to Stamford Bridge, but is staying in a rented house in north London during the lockdown, along with goalkeeping coach Nuno Santos, tactical analyst Ricardo Formosinho and head of first-team performance Carlos Lalin.

Mourinho is staying in daily contact with the other members of his core staff, assistant manager Joao Sacramento and analyst Giovanni Cerra, as well as his players, via video link.

Mourinho’s new base is minutes from the homes of a number of his players and on Sunday he wished Dele Alli a happy 24th birthday from a safe distance after bumping into the midfielder.

Mourinho has been forced to admit he was wrong after organising an impromptu fitness session with record-signing Tanguy Ndombele on Hadley Common in Barnet last week which broke Government guidelines on social distancing.
