Jose Mourinho is the Premier League manager of the month for November.
The Tottenham Hotspur head coach was nominated for the award alongside Chelsea's Frank Lampard, West Ham United boss David Moyes, and Manchester United's Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
And after three wins and a draw, it is Mourinho who has emerged victorious.
One of those wins includes beating Manchester City 2-0 at home in a game which was described as a tactical masterclass from Mourinho to get one over on his long-term rival Pep Guardiola.
The sole draw was against Chelsea as Spurs managed to nullify the threat of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner to leave Stamford Bridge with a deserved point.
Not only has the 10 points from 12 secured the Premier League manager of the month award for Mourinho, but it's also seen the Lilywhites climb to the top of the table.
In fact, Spurs are unbeaten in the top-flight of English football since the opening weekend of the new season and have emerged as serious challengers to defending champions Liverpool.
Before the Premier League had the chance to officially announce Mourinho as the manager of the month for November, the Spurs boss confirmed it himself on social media.
Uploading a video to his official Instagram account alongside his coaching staff, Mourinho had a simple two-word message.
"Special November," he wrote.
November was certainly a special month for Mourinho and December has started in a similar vein.
Victory over Arsenal in last weekend's North London Derby means they are 11 points clear of their bitter rivals and have emerged as possible title contenders.
Although, Mourinho has been quick to praise his backroom staff for the award.
"It says manager of the month, but for me it is team of the month or staff of the month because it is about the players and all these guys that are here with me: the coaches, the assistants, the sports science guys, the analysts and others that are not here but work so hard," he said.
"Thank you for this but it is not manager of the month, it is team of the month and staff of the month."
