Jose Mourinho's response when asked if Paul Pogba was biggest problem at Man Utd

Jose Mourinho provided a cryptic response when asked if Paul Pogba was the biggest problem during his time in charge at Manchester United.

Mourinho clashed with the World Cup winner on a number of occasions at United, and had even dropped him to the bench prior to getting the sack.

There are still major problems at Manchester United since Mourinho's departure and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer being handed the manager's job on a permanent basis.

And Pogba still appears to be at the heart of the issue, with the midfielder being derided for a poor performance in United's final day defeat by Cardiff City.

Pogba has also flirted with Real Madrid in recent months, but Mourinho thinks there are bigger problems than just the Frenchman at United.

"The problems are there, you can say that these are the players, the organisation, the ambition, I only say that I can not say yes when you ask if Paul was the only one responsible," Mourinho told L'Equipe.

He added: "I know Manchester United, I know it's a club with an incredible story. With ambitions that are in tune with his past but not with today's potential.

"I said, nine, ten months ago, that after winning eight Championships, finishing second with Manchester United was perhaps my greatest achievement. Now, people understand.
