It is all to play for when Tottenham travel to RB Leipzig for the second leg of their Champions League Round of 16 clash.
Losing 1-0 in the first game following Timo Werner's second-half penalty, the German side really could have put the game out of sight given the chances they created in N17.
However, Spurs had Hugo Lloris to thank as he produced some fine saves to keep the score down with the visitors in total control.
The Frenchman's reflexes could prove crucial in the return game and it means that Jose Mourinho's don't have an absolute mountain to climb as another away goal could have proved catastrophic.
Mourinho made it clear that the tie is still in the balance when speaking to his team after the game as Harry Winks opened up on his message come the full-time whistle.
"The manager's come in and told us the game's not over and we know that as well," the midfielder told reporters after the defeat.
"The last two years in the Champions League has been difficult for us but we've found ways of coming out on top and hopefully we can do the same when we go there."
Spurs can certainly take heart from last year's Champions League semi-final victory having travelled to Ajax 1-0 down after the first leg.
The Dutch side then went 3-0 up on aggregate as they hit two first half goals in Amsterdam, before Lucas Moura's heroics meant that Tottenham progressed to the final against all the odds.
"The last two years we've had our adversity in the Champions League and we've somehow found ways of proving everybody wrong," added Winks.
"It's going to be a difficult task as they're a good side and going there is never going to be easy.
"We strongly believe that we can go there and cause an upset."
