Jose Mourinho is going to have some very hard decisions to make at Tottenham throughout the 2020/21 season.

Having been allowed to name nine substitutes on the bench for their remaining games following the resumption of football in June, the rules have changed once again for the upcoming campaign.

While it will suit some teams who have limited numbers, it is going to be challenging for those who have large squads to manage due to the amount of fixtures over the course of a season.

Bale return claim

Gareth Bale would snap up the chance to return to Tottenham, according to his former teammate.

Bale is currently out of favour at Real Madrid and rejected the chance to travel with the squad for their Champions League defeat to Manchester City last week.

Los Blancos are said to be keen to sell the Wales star due to his high wages and complete lack of playing time under Zinedine Zidane.

And one of his teammates when he was in North London, Andros Townsend, believes he would be interested in a return to Spurs this summer.

Walker-Peters pens heartfelt farewell message

Kyle Walker-Peters has taken to social media to pen a farewell message to fans after his time at Tottenham finally came to an end.

With opportunities few and far between under both Mauricio Pochettino and Jose Mourinho, the right-back headed on loan to Southampton for the remainder of the season back in January.

Despite an initial slow start at St Mary's, the England U21 international really kicked on after the restart and became a regular in Ralph Hasenhuttl's side.

And having worked his way up from Spurs' academy to the first team after joining as a 10-year-old, the youngster sent a heartfelt message to supporters after his move was finalised.
