Jose Mourinho reveals what he'll be thinking if Liverpool lose Champions League final

Jose Mourinho says he will feel "very sorry" for whoever loses in the Champions League final this season after two epic semi-final ties.

Liverpool were favourites to crash out of the competition in the last four after they were thumped 3-0 by Barcelona at the Nou Camp.

But Jurgen Klopp's Reds returned the favour with interest by battering the Catalan giants 4-0 in the second leg of their semi-final at Anfield.

Tottenham meanwhile were also expected to crash out of the competition at the semi-final stage after losing 1-0 to Ajax in London and falling two goals behind in Amsterdam.

Man Utd stars look worried as they arrive at training as Ander Herrera quits club

"You can study, you can spend the next two or three weeks trying to reduce that unpredictability, but the people that work in the same country, that follow the team week-in week-out, they know everything about them.

"I believe Spurs will have Harry Kane back. I also believe that it's impossible for Mauricio [Pochettino] to leave Lucas Moura out. Play Lucas and [Heung-min] Son or play only Lucas and leave Son out, but I think it would be really, really hard for Mauricio to leave Lucas out.

Ander Herrera's goodbye message in full as he quits Man Utd

"Liverpool after the weekend match in the Premier League will have two weeks to recover every player. So I think [Roberto] Firmino will be back, [Mohamed] Salah will be back, so [Divock] Origi for profile you would clearly accept that he will be on the bench.

"I think it will be an amazing final. I'm going to be there, I'm going to enjoy it, I'm going to feel very, very sorry for the loser."
