Jose Mourinho reveals two things he still wants to achieve in football

Jose Mourinho has talked up the chances of returning to management sooner rather than later.

The former Manchester United boss recently revealed he plans to be back in a job in June after turning down "three or four" offers to return.

Despite overseeing United's worst ever start to a Premier League season before his sacking, Mourinho still clearly believes he can be a success at the top level again.

And he's revealed exactly what he plans to achieve when he eventually returns to the game - adding more Champions League and domestic honours to his collection.

"I have in mind to win a fifth league and a new Champions League in a third club," Mourinho told Canal+ .

He has won the Champions League with Porto in 2004 and Inter Milan in 2010 but failed to repeat the feat with Real Madrid or Manchester United.

He has also not won a league title since his 2014/15 Premier League triumph with Chelsea , the eighth crown of his managerial career.

Mourinho was heavily linked with a return to Real Madrid before Zinedine Zidane got the job to replace Santiago Solari.

There's also been talk of a return to Inter Milan or a chance to link up with Juventus in the summer, although it remains to be seen where he will return to the dugout.

The 56-year-old also revealed how much he is missing being involved in the game, three months after his Old Trafford departure.

"I miss training, day after day, I will not hide it," he said.

Meanwhile, midfielder Ander Herrera has offered a defence of his former manager and hit out at Manchester United players who have criticised him since his departure.

"I do not like to make comparisons and I detest when the players speak ill of a coach who has already left.

"I only have words of thanks to Mourinho, he has made me better, I played a lot with him and I was named the best player of the season with him on the bench."
