Jose Mourinho reminds Liverpool fans why he's so bitter about Chelsea goal

Former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho clearly can't let the past go with Liverpool.

The out-of-work manager, who was sacked at Old Trafford in December, is working on the Champions League game between Liverpool and Barcelona at Anfield.

And he decided to raise one of the most iconic moments in Anfield's recent history when discussing what he expected from Tuesday's night game.

Speaking to beIN Sports he explained: "Anfield is a magic place to play, it's beautiful.

"They can even score goals that the players don't score like what happened in 2004/05 when Luis Garcia didn't score the goal, the crowd scored the goal.

"But now this not possible with VAR and goal line technology."

Liverpool head into the game after a 3-0 defeat at the Nou Camp last week and Mourinho doesn't think they stand a chance of reaching the final in Madrid. Jose Mourinho reminds Liverpool fans why he's so bitter about Chelsea goal

He added: "They are losing 3-0 so tonight is not about how to stop them. It's about how can they create an incredible situation to beat Barcelona after a 3-0 defeat. It's a completely different situation.

Jose Mourinho delivers Liverpool vs Barcelona prediction ahead of Champions League tie

"In 2010 we beat them 3-1 we got to Barcelona and know that we can even lose the game by 1-0. With find ourselves after 20 minutes playing with ten players so we find ourselves being pragmatic, being tactical, defensive being brave and playing with your heart and your soul to get into that final.

"Anfield can make miracles but this is more than that. 3-0 is more than that. I don't like gambling and I know that people in football cannot do that but I woudln't pay one single coin on Liverpool playing in the final."
