Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Giovani Lo Celso is the only Tottenham player "not in condition" to play against Burnley on Sunday afternoon.
Picking up a hamstring injury in the 2-0 defeat against Leicester City prior to Christmas, the midfielder has not played in 2021 so far as he looks to work his way back to full fitness.
Certainly a miss for Spurs in his time out of action, what has helped Mourinho in the past couple of weeks is that Dele Alli has returned to form and looks set to play a big part for the team between now and May.
As well as Lo Celso spending time in the treatment room, Serge Aurier has joined him in there recently but he looks on course to return to squad to face Burnley after the head coach issued a positive update on the right-back.
"Serge is fine, he's fine. Trained today with the team without any limitations," said the 58-year-old at his pre-match press conference.
"As I was saying, everybody is training with the team and Gio is the only one that is not in conditions to play this weekend. I think even next week will be quite premature for not to say impossible, but he's coming.
"Today for the first time for a long time, the medical department could watch the [Europa League] draw as they didn't have any players inside."
Japhet Tanganga had got the nod at right-back for the recent league games against Man City and West Ham in Aurier's absence.
However, the academy ace was hooked at half-time against the Hammers as Matt Doherty came on for the second half with the team trailing.
With the Irishman starting on Wednesday against Wolfsberger AC, the summer signing will be hoping to keep his place in the side despite Aurier's return to fitness.
