Jose Mourinho was left lost for words after being asked if he was considering a job to take on a team from another planet.
The former Manchester United boss was a guest at FIFA 's 'The Best' Awards but was searching for the nearest exit after the presenter started to probe him about taking the reins to battle a team from outer space.
It's been nine months since Mourinho left Old Trafford and the 56-year-old is on the hunt for his next challenge.
The Special One has spoken of his delight at being able to recharge his batteries after a non-stop 15-year spell with of some of the world's most prestigious clubs.
But perhaps he will be making a few phone calls to hurry up his return mission after being caught on the hop while presenting an award during the glitzy event in Milan.
The host pondered if he would be interested in taking charge of the world's top XI to compete in an "Interplanetary Cup."
Before asking: "Could you be coach for a special team like this?”
Mourinho played along, saying: “It has to be a coach without a job.
"I don't believe FIFA allows coaches to coach two teams at the same time.
"So it has to be a coach without a job."
Mourinho made his exit after the strange interlude and will no doubt be yearning to get back to real action in the near future.
Meanwhile, Lionel Messi scooped the men's gong for the world's best player as Jurgen Klopp was named as the world's best manager.
