Tottenham fans are still waiting for a new striker to arrive at the club following the news that Harry Kane won't return to training until April.
The England captain suffered a hamstring injury at Southampton on New Year's Day and subsequently had to go under the knife to fix the problem.
Short up front anyway following Fernando Llorente's summer move to Napoli, Son Heung-min and Lucas Moura can fill in through the middle over the coming months, while youngster Troy Parrott is an option if required by Jose Mourinho.
The Lilywhites have been linked with a number of strikers so far this month and it was reported in Italy earlier in the week that Llorente has been offered to them on a short-term deal.
AC Milan's Krzysztof Piatek continues to be linked with a switch to the capital, with Porto's Ze Luis also mentioned regarding a temporary move to N17.
Mourinho was quizzed about the three strikers at his pre-match press conference ahead of the trip to Watford and claimed that the club are "doing everything possible" to bring in a new frotman.
"These are three names out of 30. Lots of names are coming and the majority of them are coming by players entourage, agents, people that want to put players' names in the market," said the Spurs head coach.
"Do we need a striker? Yes, if possible yes. But has to be a positive situation for us so in this moment we have these attacking players that of course are very good: Son, Lucas, Lamela, Lo Celso, Dele Alli.
"Of course they're very good but we miss that target man.
"So if it's possible then we are doing everything possible. It's not easy but we're trying to add players to the squad."
Spurs have two weeks to bring in a replacement for Kane as the January transfer window closes on Friday, January 31 at 11pm.
