Jose Mourinho has dropped a summer transfer window admission after Tottenham's 3-0 loss at RB Leipzig.
The 4-0 aggregate Champions League last 16 exit at the hands of the Germans showed the lack of depth in the Spurs' squad.
Whilst injuries aplenty have hindered Mourinho's side, the defeat also pointed to needed recruitment to improve the back-up options.
But rather than claim that will be the case in the summer window, Mourinho insisted that he has the players he needs already at the club on the sidelines at the moment.
Asked about a potential rebuild this summer, Mourinho told BT Sport: "I don't think so because this summer, unless something happens during the holidays or the Euros, when we start we'll have (Moussa) Sissoko, Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and (Steven) Bergwijn, that is massive.
"We'll have Ben Davies and even today we prepared the game and only a couple of hours before do I know that Davinson Sanchez cannot play. You can say excuses but that would be pretty bad for anyone."
On the result, Mourinho added: "Of course I was very positive yesterday. We believed but we know that in this moment it's very difficult.
"They scored from our first couple of mistakes and after that the game was very difficult.
"Their physicality was very impressive and we knew that they could hurt us all the time. Of course, they were the better team."
