Here is your Tottenham Hotspur digest for Sunday, July 19.
Mourinho hits back
Jose Mourinho says he does not care what the media write about what he says as long as he motivates his players.
The Spurs boss has admitted that he has told his players that two more victories will help them win the Europa League in order to ensure they are fully committed for their final two games of the season.
It means Mourinho is fully aware that it could open him up to ridicule from others.
"Because I want to motivate my players and I don't care what you bring up and don't bring up," Mourinho admitted. "I just want to motivate my players, and motivate myself too.
"I could think the Europa League will be a group phase – I don't want to say countries' names or clubs because it would be disrespectful – with some countries where you have to travel of eight or nine hours for a Europa League match.
"I could think of it as some matches where we play at home in the best stadium of the world will have and, if Boris allows, some spectators but not the full emotion of a big Champions League match, we need to motivate ourselves."
Neville's worrying prediction
Gary Neville says questions are starting to be asked over Harry Kane's future at Spurs.
Comparing Kane to Declan Rice at West Ham, Neville says that, while he expects the striker to stay at Spurs this summer, doubts are emerging over his long-term future.
He said: "I think they're an interesting one about where they go.
"You look at Harry Kane, I'm sure he'll be at Tottenham next season but there's more doubt than before.
"Tottenham fans, like West Ham fans, won't thank me for saying there is more doubt around these two players.
"They're the type of players that clubs above them in the league at this moment in time will want because they're gold.
"They're players who'll be around for five or 10 years at the very top of their games."

Could Bale return?
Gareth Bale's muted celebrations after winning La Liga with Real Madrid have increased speculation over his future.
The Welshman is in his seventh season in Spain but has struggled for football this season, playing just 100 minutes since La Liga resumed in June.
So, could he return to Spurs if his time at Real is at an end?
Lucas Moura has been in and out of the Spurs team under Mourinho, so Bale could well be viewed as an upgrade on the winger.
Yet the Welshman has also played as a central striker for Wales, which could open up the potential of him arriving as support for Harry Kane.
