It was an afternoon to remember at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Spurs ran riot against Burnley.
Tottenham ran out 5-0 winners against Sean Dyche's men, with Harry Kane netting twice, while Lucas Moura, Son Heung-min and Moussa Sissoko were also on target.
It was Mourinho's fourth win in five matches in all competitions as Spurs head coach, and the perfect response to tasting defeat at Old Trafford against Manchester United on Wednesday night.
In addition, it was a first clean sheet for Spurs under Mourinho, which pleased the Portuguese boss.
But the win was significant for another reason for Mourinho, with this being the first time a side managed by him has scored five goals in the Premier League since his second spell in charge of Chelsea, when the Blues beat Swansea 5-0 in January 2015.
Despite managing Manchester United for 93 league games, the Red Devils never managed to score five goals in a Premier League fixture during his time in charge.
But it has only taken five games at Spurs (four in the Premier League) to achieve that feat.
Spurs have now scored 16 goals in his five games in charge in all competitions, with Tottenham not failing to score in any game as yet since he succeeded Mauricio Pochettino in the hotseat.
Meanwhile, the result also continued Mourinho's impressive record of never losing a Premier League game against Burnley, having faced the Clarets eight times in the top flight as a manager.
In those eight games, he has won five and drawn three.
