Former Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly looking to land Spurs midfielder Tanguy Ndombele at AS Roma.
The playmaker has struggled for minutes under new boss Antonio Conte, though the head coach wouldn’t disclose whether he would be available to leave the club in January.
However, a report from Calciomercato claims that the Portuguese manager is eyeing a potential swoop for the club’s record signing to bolster his creative midfield ranks.
It also states that they are exploring the possibility of landing the Frenchman on loan with the potential to sign him permanently.
Paulo Dybala can save Spurs millions in January
Juventus forward Paulo Dybala is out-of-contract in the summer and is available to discuss a pre-contractual agreement this month.
Spurs have been previously linked with the Argentine, with a potential deal showing they could mean business going forward under Conte.
The transfer would save them millions on paying a transfer fee, while also supporting England captain Harry Kane up front, who the club aim to keep hold of for the future.
