Jose Mourinho delivers foul-mouthed praise of Man City players

Jose Mourinho described Manchester City as a team of c**** as he pleaded with his Tottenham players to be more like them.

Mourinho had a fierce rivalry with Pep Guardiola in Spain when the two managers were in charge of Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively, although struggled to get the upper hand when the pair were reunited in Manchester and lasted just over two years at Old Trafford before getting sacked.

The Portuguese coach is back in the Premier League with Tottenham, and enjoyed a 2-0 win over City in February in a game where the Blues were made to pay for missing countless chances, including a first-half penalty.

Amazon cameras were granted access to all areas for a documentary on Spurs last season, and they captured the fiery team talk from Mourinho at half-time with the score at 0-0.

“When you save the penalty, they try to put huge pressure for another penalty to be given. This is the difference between a team of c**** and a team of good guys," he said.

“But the story of football is that the teams of good guys, they never win. So f****** hell! Be a c***!”

Mourinho added that City players would certainly be aware of Tottenham players already on a yellow card and reiterated that Kyle Walker, Aleks Zinchenko and Raheem Sterling were all on yellow cards.

Zinchenko would be sent off for a second bookable offence 15 minutes into the second half, with the visitors then conceding twice in the final half-hour to sink to another defeat.
