Jose Mourinho believes Gareth Bale will be "fine" for Tottenham's Premier League clash against Leicester City on Sunday.
Missing out against Crystal Palace last weekend due to illness, the Welshman was once again absent on Wednesday evening as the team lost 2-1 late on away at Liverpool.
However, after not training outdoors with his teammates prior to the trip to Anfield, the Spurs head coach has confirmed that the loan signing has been back out there with the rest of the team at Hotspur Way ahead of this weekend's game.
"He's fine. Trained yesterday with the team, trained today with the team," explained the boss at his pre-match press conference.
"Looks ok. So if tomorrow, he does it normally like he did normally in the last two days, he's fine."
The return of Bale will come as a boost to Spurs as they look to get back to winning ways following their defeat on Merseyside during the week.
While the player will boost the team's attacking numbers if he does indeed make the squad on Sunday afternoon, one player who still remains absent is Erik Lamela.
The Argentine has not featured for Spurs since the start of November due to an achilles problem but Mourinho has since confirmed that he has started to link up with his teammates in training again.
"No injuries. Tanganga is out, of course. And Lamela trained I cannot say 100% with the team, but it was the first day when he did a couple of exercises with us, so coming to the end of his injury," explained the 57-year-old.
"But of course not ready to play, not even very close to play."
