Jose Mourinho confirms one starter and two absentees vs LASK in the Europa League

Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Tottenham Hotspur will be without Eric Dier and Japhet Tanganga for their clash with Austrian side LASK.

The two clubs will meet in the Europa League on Thursday night as Spurs look to continue their 100 per cent start to their European campaign.

Giovani Lo Celso is now back in contention after he missed the club's most recent outings through injury.

Tottenham 3-3 West Ham: David Moyes post-match press conference

Spurs will be without Dier after he missed the West Ham clash after failing to recover from a hamstring problem suffered on international duty.

Tanganga, meanwhile, is continuing his fightback from a thigh problem that saw miss the back end of last season.

"Apart from Eric Dier and Japhet Tanganga, we have everyone available apart from the players left out of the list [his Europa League squad]," said Mourinho.

That admission also makes clear that both Dele Alli, who is thought to have also returned from England duty with an injury, and Tanguy Ndombele will both be available for selection.

And so too will Gareth Bale after he made his debut from the bench in that 3-3 draw with the Hammers.

While Mourinho was keen to remain tight-lipped about his team selection, he was happy to confirm that Davidson Sanchez, who will also face the media this afternoon, will start.

He joked: "The only player I can confirm is starting is Davinson Sanchez. The only thing I ask is that you don't ask him about his amazing goal on Sunday."
