Jose Mourinho might have been sacked by Manchester United, but he believes he's been made better by that experience.
Mourinho was relieved of his duties at Old Trafford in 2019 after winning the League Cup and Europa League across his three-year tenure in Manchester and he's since managed Tottenham before being recently appointed as Roma's latest manager in Italy.
It's no secret Mourinho boasts a remarkable and almost unrivalled, glittering CV in football after winning multiple major honours around Europe, but he's not clinched notable silverware since winning the Europa League in Stockholm with United in 2017.
The former United boss will be hoping to put a swift end to that unwanted record with his latest club Roma and he's now claimed he's a better manager because of his past experiences in football, which would suggest he's confident of winning trophies once again.

“I’m much better now. I’m serious. I’m much better now because I think this is a job where experience means a lot. With experience, everything becomes deja vu because you’ve gone through so many experiences," Mourinho told Roma's YouTube channel.
"Since I left Italy, I went to Real Madrid which was an incredible experience and I reached my dream of winning Italy, England and Spain, and then I went back to England where it’s my family base and of course I wanted to come.
"You know, I even have the extreme experience of taking a team [Tottenham] to a final and not playing the final, which is something I never thought would happen in my career and it happened.
"Learning with the good moments and also the bad moments, I am much more prepared than I was, you can only get better until the day you lose your motivation."
