Guardiola sends Hart message
Pep Guardiola has paid tribute to Tottenham goalkeeper Joe Hart for the part he played in helping Manchester City become one of Europe's top clubs.
City have booked their place in their first-ever Champions League final later this month with a second-leg win over Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.
Hart spent over a decade in Manchester and Guardiola acknowledged this when he spoke to the media after the 4-1 aggregate win over PSG.
"Absolutely [it's a historic evening]," he told Man City's official website after the 2-0 win. "Big memories for all the players and all the people who have made this club big - Colin Bell, Mike Summerbee - many, many of them.
"Congratulations to the owners who took over the club and tried to invest and support. People believe it is just about money. If they want to believe that, okay, but it is not just that, it is all departments and the facilities we have.
"Vincent Kompany, David Silva, Joe Hart, Pablo Zabaleta - many players who help get us in this position now. It belongs to them and I am pretty sure they will support us in three weeks."

Spurs issue Skipp injury update
Tottenham have confirmed that on-loan midfielder Oliver Skipp has undergone surgery to repair a metatarsal fracture.
The 20-year-old picked up a foot injury in Norwich City's 4-1 victory over Reading last Saturday and was spotted on crutches after the clash.
Spurs have now issued an injury update on Skipp, who has been so impressive for the Canaries this season.
A statement on the club's official website read: "Oliver Skipp has undergone surgery to repair a metatarsal fracture.
"Oliver has spent the season on loan at Norwich City and sustained the injury late on during their 4-1 win against Reading on Saturday, a game which secured the Canaries the Championship title.
"The England Under-21 international will undergo a period of recovery and is expected to return to training during the pre-season period."
Mourinho 'will ask' about Spurs duo
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Jose Mourinho has identified Tottenham duo Eric Dier and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg as two transfer targets for Roma this summer.
The Italian club announced on Tuesday that Mourinho will take over from Paulo Fonseca next season.
Now, reports from Italy are suggesting that the former Spurs boss has earmarked both Hojbjerg and Dier as two players he wants to bring to his new club.
The latter of the two established himself as Mourinho's first-choice centre-back at the start of this season.
Hojbjerg was signed by the former Spurs manager last summer from Southampton and was an ever-present figure in his starting 11.
