Jose Mourinho and Tottenham display a touch of class in moving moment ahead of Europa League tie

Jose Mourinho has shown his class in today's pre-match press conference.

The Tottenham boss spoke to the media ahead of Thursday night's trip to Macedonia to face KF Shkëndija in the third round of the Europa League qualifiers.

At the end of the press conference, a Macedonian journalist appeared upset after not getting the chance to ask Mourinho a question.

The journalist's late father idolised Mourinho and he was desperate to speak to the Portuguese boss.

Mourinho: Dele doesn't need to be sacrificed

After leaving the room, the Spurs boss heard about the situation and returned to his seat to answer the journalist's question.

And that's not all. Mourinho also promised the journalist a picture which will be put on the late father's memorial.

A real touch of class Mourinho, who doesn't often make the headlines for his acts of kindness, usually characterised as a hard-nosed football boss.

One fan reacted to the story by saying: "Us fans are slowly falling back in love with Tottenham. With the Leyton Orient donations, the bale resigning and decent transfer window and continuous good stories... we can be happy fans again."

Another wrote: "Jose is a class act."
