Former Arsenal player Jose Antonio Reyes has died in a car crash in Spain.
The 35-year-old was involved in a serious car accident in Utreta on Saturday.
"We couldn't be confirming worse news," read a message published by Sevilla.
"Beloved Sevilla star Jose Antonio Reyes has died in a traffic collision. Rest in peace."
Reyes joined Arsenal in January 2004 and won his Premier League in his first season becoming the first Spaniard to do so.
He left the Gunners having won an FA Cup to join Real Madrid on loan in the 2006/07 season before making a permanent switch to Atletico Madrid.
