Jorginho squaring up and that Eden Hazard banner - Moments missed from Liverpool defeat

Eden Hazard banner

There was some confusion from supporters when a huge Eden Hazard banner was unfurled ahead of Chelsea's 2-1 defeat to Liverpool.

It is something that has been used before over the past couple of seasons when the Belgian was at the club, however it seemed a bit strange to see it make an appearance again.

But there is a simple explanation for the banner being in the Matthew Harding Stand, and it is just a case of it being a simple mistake.

The Chelsea supporters often have superb banners for home matches, but unfortunately the wrong one went out for the Blues game.

Henderson’s screams

Fikayo Tomori put in a superb performance against Mohamed Salah and throughout the match, keeping the Liverpool forwards pretty quiet.

However, his first real bit of action came by taking out Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson with a sliding challenge.

It wasn't a great challenge from the Chelsea youngster, not getting the ball and then picking up a yellow card in the process.

But Henderson's screams were a little over the top as he hit the ground, getting up pretty soon afterwards.

Jorginho squaring up

Henderson was in the action once again when this time he got into a bit of a fracas with Jorginho in the first half.

The Liverpool midfielder fouled the Italy international, and then pulled his arm back as he was running away.

Jorginho did not appreciate that at all from the England international and squared up to him.

The 27-year-old is not afraid to go up against anyone and Chelsea fans are certainly loving his passion this season.

Time wasting

The Chelsea bench were getting massively frustrated just ten minutes into the second half when Liverpool were already showing signs of time wasting.

At first it was Adrian who was taking his time, before Andy Robertson also caught the attention of referee Michael Oliver when he took too long over a throw-in.

But it was Trent Alexander-Arnold who picked up the first yellow card for time wasting, again with a throw-in, and the Chelsea bench were annoyed by how long things were taking.
