Jorginho sent Italy to the Euro 2020 Final with the absolute calmest penalty attempt

It’s difficult to imagine a stronger and faster comeback on the international soccer stage than what Italy is pulling off. And it has a chance to get even better.

Just four years after missing out its first World Cup since 1958, Italy is heading to the UEFA Euro 2020 Final after Tuesday’s 1-1 win over Spain in penalties. The Azzurri will face the winner of England-Denmark.

But it’s how Italy won the shootout that has everyone talking.

Moments after Alvaro Morata — who came off the bench to score the equalizing goal for Spain in regulation — was stopped on a dreadful penalty attempt from the spot, Chelsea’s Jorginho stepped up to take the decisive penalty.

And from how Jorginho took the shot, you’d never know that he was under any pressure at all.
